Hwy 101, SR-87 Fires, I-280 Crash Affected So. Bay Commute: CHP

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- A vehicle fire on State Route 87 and a blaze reported on U.S. Highway 101 are now snarling traffic from San Jose to Redwood City Monday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported. All incidents have cleared.

The CHP is also reporting a crash blocking the off ramp on northbound Interstate 280 south of N. Wolfe Road in Cupertino.

There was also an obstacle blocking a northbound lane on the highway south of the San Tomas Expressway in San Jose, but it has since cleared.
