Man Accused Of Harassing Teen Girl In Redwood City
Police allege the 46-year-old man asked inappropriate questions to a 14-year-old girl walking home from school.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A Newark man arrested this week in Redwood City is accused of harassing a teen girl as she walked home from school, according to police.
Investigators said a man driving a white car pulled up to the 14-year-old girl, asking her how old she was, for her cell phone number, and "can I hit on you," police said. The girl said he also asked her to come closer to his car and drove away when she refused. She went home and called the police.
Detectives utilized the Flock system to search for cars matching the description and caught sight of a similar vehicle traveling in the area. Police said the car was registered to Neil Porras Prado, 46, of Newark, and said the victim confirmed he was the man who harassed her.
