SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a robbery suspect after an incident at a gas station in unincorporated Redwood City Monday night.

The suspect, described as a male wearing a hooded sweatshirt, struck the victim from behind and took his wallet, according to the sheriff’s office.

The incident happened at 9:47 p.m. at the Spartan Gas Station at 2303 Spring Street.
