SMC Meth Dealer Busted: Police

Officers arrested the suspect after a short pursuit on foot, police said.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Officers said they arrested a suspect known to be selling suspected methamphetamine on Oct. 11 in Redwood City, police announced Friday.

On Oct. 11, Redwood City Police Department officers said they saw the suspect, who is known to distribute suspected methamphetamine to several people near Arguello Plaza close to Sequoia Station Substation.

Police said when they tried to contact the suspect they fled on foot but was detained after a short pursuit. Officers said they recovered suspected drugs and cash from the suspect.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail, police said.
