Of those without power, hundreds were located on the Peninsula, according to PG&E.
Nearly 1,000 PG&E customers are experiencing outages around the Bay Area as of midday Thursday because of stormy weather in the region, a utility spokeswoman said.
The outages were fairly evenly spread around the Bay Area, with 290 customers affected in the South Bay, 249 in the Peninsula, 205 in San Francisco, 169 in the East Bay, and 58 in the North Bay, PG&E spokeswoman Tamar Sarkissian said.
The East Bay earlier Thursday had outages affecting 1,693 customers, but the majority of those have since had their power restored, according to Sarkissian.
