New Redwood City Basketball Court To Be Built At Red Morton Park
"Ballers, we heard you!" the city's Parks and Recreation department posted on Facebook. "Can you believe we never had an outdoor court?!"
REDWOOD CITY, CA — After numerous requests from residents for an outdoor basketball court at Red Morton Park, Redwood City began construction on one Tuesday.
The permanent full-court will be on the site of the temporary hoop and tennis practice wall. A new tennis practice wall is also expected to be built next to the basketball court.
"Ballers, we heard you!" the city's Parks and Recreation department posted on Facebook. "Can you believe we never had an outdoor court?! We're so excited!"
