Op-Ed: Pete's Harbor Refugee

Buckley Stone speaks out on his emigration from Pete's Harbor.

So, after Paula ripped out the docks and we took refuge at Redwood Landing, which we could not stay at because Rich would be persecuted by the BCDC, after 20 years we live in Oakland. Now I travel 25 miles to the Palo Alto VA and pay bridge tolls. In the words of Ernie Schmidt "I am not in your purview", life here is a bit dark and scary but so far so good. Um, we still need to find a post office, a local laundromat, recycle spot, new Safeway checkers a favorite "Franklin Street Restaurant", Library, Chevron, Savers, Car wash, ER and Veterinarian where we are not stared at for being "outsiders". Try it some time. oh well, "thanks for all the fish". Oh and a somewhere to vote on local issues. Hey! Paula, Ernie, Rich and all in the big Denver money, go "Gentrify" yourselves! Enjoy the Glow.
