Peninsula Blaze Displaces 1

At approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday, six fire companies responded to the structure fire in the 900 block of Hillside Boulevard.

DALY CITY, CA — A fire in a single-family Peninsula home on Tuesday night left one person displaced, the North County Fire Authority said.

At approximately 5 p.m., six fire companies responded to the structure fire in the 900 block of Hillside Boulevard in Daly City.

The structure sustained minor to moderate damage, Depute Fire Chief Todd Johnson said.

Smoke and fire could be seen coming from the two-story residence and firefighters located one person inside and brought them out to safety.

No one was injured and no nearby structures were harmed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
