Peninsula Rolex Robbery Under Investigation: Cops

SAN MATEO COUNTY, — Two suspects are sought in connection with an armed robbery in unincorporated Menlo Park on Thursday night that involved a Rolex watch, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies at around 8:10 p.m. responded to the 2000 block of Sharon Road on the report of an armed robbery, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The deputies determined that one suspect wearing a red bandana pulled a gun on the victim and demanded his personal belongings, while an additional suspect waited in a vehicle, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The suspects fled in a light-colored SUV with the victim’s Rolex watch, wallet, cellphone and keys, the Sheriff’s Office said.
