Public Input Requested On Redwood City 'Walk Bike Thrive' Plans

RWC Walk Bike Thrive aims to develop plans for both a Citywide Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan and a Vision Zero Action Plan.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City is seeking public input on its plan to improve walking, biking and traffic safety conditions.

RWC Walk Bike Thrive aims to develop plans for both a Citywide Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan and a Vision Zero Action Plan.

The public is also asked to take part in a survey. The questions include inquiries on streets that should be added to the network and criteria for prioritizing projects. The survey is open through the end of January.

Outreach on the project began in Sept. 2021. In November, the project team identified intersections in the city that have the most collisions. Final plans are expected to be completed in March or April this year.

A virtual public workshop on RWC Walk Bike Thrive is also set for Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
