Redwood City Black History Month Exhibit To Remain Through March

The exhibit features a range of cultural artifacts to inform the community about Black history.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A pop-up Black History Month exhibit in Redwood City will remain place through the end of March.

The exhibit, sponsored by the San Mateo County Event Center, was originally scheduled to be open Feb. 7-27 at the Domini Hoskins Black History Mobile Museum at 890 Jefferson Ave. in Redwood City.

The exhibit features a range of cultural artifacts to inform the community about Black history.

“San Mateo County has a rich and diverse history, and it is important that as an event and exposition center we highlight the significant contributions of black community,” said Dana Stoehr, the CEO of San Mateo County Event Center. “Supporting Black History is something we always embrace, and we are proud to sponsor this exhibit.”

According to KCBS, the NFL Alumni Association and the cities of Redwood City and Belmont helped extend the exhibit through the end of March.
