
A Redwood City resident was arrested in unincorporated San Mateo County on Sunday for wielding a handgun in public.
On June 23 at about 3:33 a.m., a county sergeant was in the 3200 block of Middlefield Road when he saw a man walking with a handgun. The Sergeant got behind his car and told the man to put down the weapon.
The man Daniel Conception, 25, placed his gun on the ground and was arrested. Police charged him with carrying/exhibiting an unloaded firearm in public and possession of a controlled subject. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail.
