Redwood City Man Pleads No Contest To Child Pornography Charges

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A Redwood City who worked in an after school care center and as a babysitter pleaded no contest to child pornography charges Wednesday, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.
Alexander Jessup, 32, was accused of uploading multiples of child pornography that showed girls between the ages of 8 and 10 exposing themselves, according to prosecutors.
Jessup worked for 10 years with young children, including at the Laurel School Newton Center in Atherton and as a babysitter, prosecutors said.

The sheriff’s office was alerted to Jessup via a cyber tipline report.
Jessup is out of custody on $100,000 bail on conditions that he must stay at least 100 yards away from the Laurel School Newton Center and have no contact with minors without supervision. He is set to be sentenced next April.
