Redwood City Police Investigate Shots Fired At 'Large Group'

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City police are investigating a shooting that took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to police, shots were fired at a "large group" of people who had congregated at a dead end near Standish Street and Winslow Street. The group fled the area and didn't report the incident. Residents later informed the police of the shooting. There were no reported injuries.

Police are unsure if one suspect or multiple suspects fired the shots. Officers found five .45 caliber casings and two .9 mm casings at the scene, according to a news release. A resident told police that shots were also fired on Saturday.
