Redwood City Police Seek Tips In Deadly Hit-And-Run
An unidentified driver hit and killed a cyclist on Veterans Boulevard in March.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — The Redwood City Police Department is seeking information about a fatal hit-and-run involving an unsheltered man that occurred in March.
Manuel Alfonso, 54, was identified by the San Mateo coroner's office as the person killed in the hit-and-run.
According to police, Alfonso was on a bike when he and the unknown driver were involved in a collision.

The crash was reported at 9:23 p.m. March 31 in the 1100 block of Veterans Boulevard, near the intersection of Walnut Street, according to police.
Police said the vehicle involved was a late 1990s Toyota or Honda sedan that was either gold or white.
