Redwood City Residents Invited to 'Fashionable Filoli'

Filoli hosts the exhibit through Sept. 25.

From Filoli:

Fashionable Filoli: Historic Costumes will be held through Sept. 25.

Throughout the Bourn and Roth periods, Filoli hosted everything from high society social events to quiet afternoon teas. This summer, in connection with Filoli’s centennial celebrations, Filoli will feature a selection of period costumes throughout the main house that span both the Bourn (1915-1936) and Roth (1937-1975) periods, when Filoli was a not only a home, but a social destination. This exhibit allows visitors to step back in time as through historic fashion at Filoli.

The special presentation, "Fashionable Filoli Undressed," will be held Saturday, Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to noon with presenter Julie Bly DeVere.
