RWC Fire Stomps Out Structure Fire Within 20 Minutes

Redwood City Fire jumped all over a structure fire reported close to Middlefield Road on Tuesday afternoon.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A structure fire on Charter Street was contained in less than a half hour when Redwood City Fire got the call at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, the department confirmed.

It burned the building at 612 Charter St. near Middlefield Road, a major Peninsula thoroughfare.

Still, the fire department advised people to avoid the area.
