See Police Dept.'s Largest Promotional Ceremony Ever Online Today
Facebook, Twitter, Nixle - pick your platform, and watch a large number of police department staff be promoted to higher positions Thursday afternoon.
The Redwood City Police Department will be promoting a large number of its staff members to higher positions today, Thursday, Dec. 13 - and, because our police department is always on the cutting-edge of technology, the community is invited to witness the occasion through various social media platforms.
"Due to the overwhelming size of this event, along with space and parking considerations, we are unable to open this event up to the public," the department said in a statement Wednesday. "However, in order to share this momentous occasion with our residents, members of our social media team will be publishing video, photos and content across all of our internet platforms."
