Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022. The South Bay and Peninsula are relatively quiet, but SigAlerts have been issued on 580 eastbound near Livermore and 80 westbound near Fairfield, both closing many lanes.

Traffic Hazard on CA-1 Northbound south of CA-84 (San Gregorio). Lane affected. Expect delays.

Hit and Run, no injuries, at E. McGlincy Lane in San Jose.

Defective traffic signals at Castro Valley Blvd. and Santa Maria Ave. in Castro Valley.

Closures

Roadwork on I-580 Westbound between Bayview Ave (Richmond) and Erlandson St (Richmond). Left lane and shoulder closed until 1 PM.

Roadwork on I-580 Eastbound at Main St (San Quentin). Left shoulder closed until 2 PM.

Long-term construction on CA-29 Southbound ramp to I-80 W (Vallejo). Connector ramp closed. Expect delays.
