Suspect Steals Redwood City Work Truck, Goes For A Ride

The 21-year-old suspect stole the fully-marked truck while a city employee was working on water lines nearby.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A 21-year-old was arrested Monday on suspicion of stealing a Redwood City work truck.

Anaviska Juarez was charged with vehicle theft and possession of a stolen vehicle. According to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, Juarez stole the fully-marked truck in the area of Commercial Street and Old County Road in San Carlos while the city employee driving the truck was working on water lines nearby.
