Teen Delinquents Escape Northern California Facility

Deputies searched the area but were unable to find the teenagers.

LA HONDA, CA -- Authorities on Friday are searching for two teenagers who left a juvenile correctional facility in La Honda. The teenagers reportedly walked away from Log Cabin Correctional Facility at 500 Log Cabin Ranch Road at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies searched the area but were unable to find the teenagers.

The first suspect is described as an 18-year-old Hispanic male, 5'01” and 130 pounds.

The second suspect is described as a 17-year-old Hispanic male, 5’00” and 150 pounds.

Both subjects were last seen wearing a tan jacket, white shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone who sees them is asked to call 650-363-4911 or 911. Authorities said the public should not approach them.
