Tennis Courts Temporarily Closed At Redwood City's Morton Park

Two courts will be relined to allow for both tennis and pickleball.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — The tennis court at Red Morton Park in Redwood City will be restriped beginning Friday.

Courts 1 and 2 will be closed on Friday and Courts 3 and 4 will be closed next Monday through Wednesday.

Courts 1 and 2 will be relined for both tennis and pickleball, allowing for either two tennis courts or four pickleball courts to be arranged. Courts 3 and 4 will be for tennis only, and will go through a resurfacing and relining process next week.

The city’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services department said the changes were made after input from tennis and pickleball players.

Red Morton Park also received a new basketball court last year.
