Woodside DUI Checkpoint Nets 2 Arrests

Out of 1,058 cars screened during the Saturday operation, two drivers were arrested on suspicion of DUI.

WOODSIDE, CA — Following a DUI and driver's license checkpoint, deputies from the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office arrested two and cited 27 in Woodside Saturday evening.

Deputies conducted the checkpoint from 6 p.m. on Saturday to 2 a.m. on Sunday on the 2300 block of Woodside Road.

Out of 1058 cars screened, two drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

27 drivers for cited for operating a car without a license, not possessing their license or driving on a suspended license.
