Person Falls On BART Tracks In Oakland
The incident at the West Oakland station caused a 20 minute delay on routes.
OAKLAND, CA — BART is experiencing a 20-minute delay in all directions at the West Oakland BART station early this morning due to a person falling on the tracks, according to BART dispatch.
The delay was first reported at 5:47 a.m. A BART dispatcher said a person fell on to the tracks, but was safely taken off of them, and the system was recovering from the delay.
