Cool Front, Rainy Forecast to Hit Rohnert Park Next Week
Rainy season beginning about a month early, according to the National Weather Service.
Cool, rainy conditions are expected to roll in to Rohnert Park at the beginning of next week, after weeks of warm, dry weather, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers. A 30 percent chance of rain is anticipated for Monday. The rest of the week's forecast is mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, with temperatures between 50 and 70 degrees.
"The rain is about four weeks early this year," said Steve Anderson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. "The first winter storms normally come at the end of October."

The strongest cold front is currently timed to arrive later Tuesday into Wednesday with a brief period of heavy rain and strong winds, meteorologists said in a statement this week. The exact timing and details will continue to be fined tuned over the next several days.
Last year, Rohnert Park got 41 inches of rain, Anderson said, and the total for last October was 5.14 inches.
