Cotati To Close Part Of La Plaza For Holiday Tree Lighting

COTATI, CA — La Plaza will be closed 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, to accommodate the Holiday Tree Lighting, the City of Cotati advised.

The road closure is between Old Redwood Highway and West Sierra Avenue. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route, drive carefully, and remain aware of pedestrians.

The holiday event runs 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. rain or shine at La Plaza Park. The night will be full of food and craft vendors, music, free coffee, hot cocoa and cookies, crafts for children, live entertainment and visits with Santa Claus. There will also be horse and trolley rides available for a suggested donation of $3 each (benefitting the recreation department).
