SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A handgun that was reported stolen out of Rohnert Park turned up early Tuesday in a suspected DUI crash in Santa Rosa, police said.

Shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to Fulton Road north of West 3rd Street where a witness said a driver was involved in a solo car crash and was non-responsive.

Officers were able to speak with the driver, later identified as 34-year-old Santa Rosa resident Rudy Dominguez, and their observations made them believe he was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, the Santa Rosa Police Department said in a news release.
