Sebastopol Man Uses Hopscotch Defense To Dispute DUI
Breaking: Police recounted the incident in a Facebook post this weekend.

SEBASTOPOL, CA — A suspect pulled over for a DUI in Sebastopol Saturday offered up an interesting defense, police said in a Facebook post.
Early Saturday morning, a Sebastopol police officer observed the above vehicle run a red light at the intersection of Sebastopol and Petaluma Avenues. The officer stopped the car and instigated a DUI test.
The driver insisted it wasn't a DUI because he wasn't "fall down drunk," and he could still "do hopscotch and math equations."

The officer, while no doubt impressed with the man's hopscotch abilities, arrested the man, as his blood alcohol level was over .08, according to the post.
