Traffic Alert As Holiday Lights Hung On Rohnert Park Expressway

Rohnert Park Expressway was down to one lane Tuesday as city workers hung annual holiday lights.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — 'Tis the season in Rohnert Park.

City of Rohnert Park Public Works personnel were hanging the annual holiday lights Tuesday, prompting a traffic advisory from the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.

"To assist with traffic congestion, we advise drivers to avoid eastbound Rohnert Park Expressway between Commerce Boulevard and State Farm Drive which has been reduced to one lane," police said at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. "When the activity is concluded, we will notify the community."
