City Of Rohnert Park Community Services Memorial Day Celebration

Where: Rohnert Park Community Center, 5401 Snyder Ln., Rohnert Park, CA 94928
What: The City of Rohnert Park invites community members to honor Memorial Day and the sacrifice of servicemembers who lost their lives. Outside the Community Center, an “Avenue of Flags” will guide attendees to the event.

Car Show – Memorial Day
When: Monday, May 27 - 10:00 a.m.
Where: Newsong Church, 167 Arata Ln., Windsor, CA 95492
What: Up the road in Windsor, the 10th annual Memorial Day Car Show is a free, family-friendly event. Along with hundreds of display cars, this event features food trucks and activities for kids.
Memorial Day Ceremony
When: Monday, May 27 - 10:00 a.m.
Where: Santa Rosa Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95404
What: In nearby Santa Rosa, community members are invited to gather for a brief remembrance ceremony. Before the event, volunteers will place flags on the headstones of veterans to highlight their individual contributions and sacrifices.

Memorial Day Service
When: Monday, May 27 - 11:00 a.m.
Where: Sebastopol Memorial Lawns, 7951 Bodega Ave., Sebastopol, CA 95472
What: In Sebastopol, VFW Post 3919 is hosting a service in remembrance of fallen soldiers. Following the ceremony, lunch will be served at the Sebastopol Veterans Memorial Building.
