The seven-story Prospect Villa would add 75 apartments over ground-floor shops on a currently vacant lot, part of a broader shift of developers focusing on Rosemead and nearby San Gabriel Valley communities for new housing investment.

- There was a break-in at one of our HOA members home last night.
The homeowner just went out to eat dinner. The break in happened in between 5 pm to 7 pm. The intruders destroyed the lock and gate behind the garage… (Nextdoor Walnut Grove/Valley) - lost cat
