CRPD Budget Discussion at Special Meeting Monday Morning

The Cordova Recreation and Park District Board of Directors will hold a special meeting Monday.

The calendar year is only a month old, but the fiscal year is more than halfway done. The Cordova Recreation and Park District will meet Monday morning for a special meeting to discuss finances so far in the 2012-13 fiscal year.

A mid-year budget review is on the calendar for the 9 a.m. meeting of the district's board of directors. The meeting will be held on the second floor of Mills Station, 2900 Mather Field Road in Rancho Cordova.

The board is also set to discuss a contract to print and mail the district's bi-annual recreation guide. The cost for that book to be sent to residents in the district is $17,120 for each printing, according to a meeting agenda. The guide is sent in the spring/summer and in the fall/winter.
