The Rancho Cordova Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to locate an elderly male adult who went missing late Tuesday night, Oct. 1, 2013. Richard Sydney Shortt, 80, was last seen at the Mather Field Light Rail station as he got off the train to go home to his residence on LaLoma Drive.
Shortt is described as black male adult who is 80 years old and diagnosed with early stages of dementia. He is 5’5” tall, weighs approximately 145 pounds and was last seen wearing a black military command hat with red/white/blue colors on half the brim and a logo of ‘MAC’ on the front, a grey USA Olympic fleece jacket with Olympic rings on the right breast pocket, a blue/grey checkered shirt and black jeans. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this elderly male is urged to contact the Rancho Cordova Police Department at (916) 362-5115.
