7 Candidates to Run for 3 Roseville City Council Seats

The candidate-filing period ended Friday. Seven have officially filed to run in the November election.

Roseville voters will decide among two sitting city council members and five challengers in the Nov. 6 election. The candidate-filing period ended on Friday, Aug. 10.

Current Mayor Pauline Roccucci and Councilwoman Carol Garcia have announced re-election campaigns for Roseville City Council, as well as five others: Scott Alvord, Bonnie Gore, Tracy Mendonsa, Phil Ozenick and John Schwartz, according to the Placer County Elections Office.

Councilman John Allard is not eligible for re-election because he will have "termed out." Three seats are up for grabs.

Also on the Nov. 6 ballot will be multiple candidates vying for seats on four school districts in Roseville. .
