Businesses Offer Free Meals, Discounts to Veterans

While Roseville will honor military veterans with a , many businesses are marking the occasion as well.

The Military Wallet website has posted a list of national store and restaurant chains that offer special Veterans Day discounts to veterans and service members.

Since Roseville is a smorgasbord of chains, many of these deals are available right here in town. Be sure to bring your military ID or veterans organization card with you, as most require proof of military service.

Here are a few highlights:

is offering free meals from a special menu.

At , they're serving veterans a complimentary lunch entree or a one topping mini pizza for dinner.

Veterans will get a free doughnut at in Roseville.

At , they'll be celebrating Sunday, Nov. 13 with their 13th annual Veteran's Appreciation Event. Veterans will get a free lunch or dinner entree at participating restaurants.

And, for families looking to take a road trip:

The National Park Service is waiving entrance fees for all parks from Nov. 11-13.

Southern California amusement park Knott's Berry Farm will allow any veteran or service member plus one guest in free during Military Tribute Days, now through Nov. 24.
