Over the weekend of June 29-July 1, catalytic converters were taken from Toyota SUVs and Toyota pickups on Ludlow Drive, Brookwater Court, Briggs Drive and Camino Capistrano.
Sometime over the weekend of June 30-July 2, someone stole a catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia pickup on Hadnall Court.
Just before 5 a.m. July 2, residents of a house in the 2200 block of Americana Drive were awakened by a noise outside. The husband hit the alarm button on his car remote, causing his car alarm to activate, and he then heard the sound of someone running away. He went outside and saw a fleeing suspect. He described him as a male in his 20s, possibly Asian, 5'6" tall and thin, wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt. He drove away in an older gold Nissan four-door sedan. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Later the couple discovered that the catalytic converter had been taken from their Toyota Sequoia SUV.

Thursday, June 21
Between 5 and 11:15 p.m. on June 21, someone smashed the window of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of North Sunrise Avenue and took a purse that had been left on the rear floorboard of the car.
Friday, June 22
Over the weekend of June 22 and 25, two cars were broken into in the 7400 block of Galilee Road and a camcorder, stereo face plate and registration documents were stolen. Gas was also siphoned from a third vehicle.
Saturday, June 23
Between June 23 and 25, someone broke into a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Haman Way and stole a wallet containing cash, an ID and gift cards.
Monday, June 25
Overnight on June 25/26, someone tried to pry the door of a locked vehicle in the 800 block of Trimble Way, leaving pry marks. The thief was unable to get in and nothing was taken.
Tuesday, June 26
At 1:50 p.m. on June 26, a woman was seen stealing a wallet from an unlocked vehicle parked outside a gymnastics gym in the 1000 block of Industrial Avenue. The wallet contained cash, an ID and credit cards. The suspect was described as a white female in her 20s, 5'6" tall, average build, with brown hair worn in a ponytail. She was driving a black Honda four-door sedan.
At about 5:20 a.m. on June 26, someone went into an unlocked toolbox in the bed of a pickup in the 1100 block of Fairfield Avenue and stole a batter charger and some clothing.
Overnight on June 26/27, two vehicles were broken into on Corbridge Drive and Hilmerton Circle. The burglars stole several valuable items, including GPS devices, a laptop computer, an iPhone and cash from a purse that had been left inside one of the vehicles.
Overnight on June 26/27, someone went into a fenced area in the 200 block of Kenroy Lane and burglarized two trailers. It's unknown what was taken from the trailers. They also broke into candy machines and took change. Another trailer and vehicle in the same block were burglarized overnight on July 3 and July 4.
Wednesday, June 27
At about 5 a.m. on June 27, a resident of Morecombe Court heard his car alarm beeping and went out to find his car's trunk lid ajar. He later discovered that workout clothing, prescription glasses, an iPod and other items had been stolen from the vehicle.
Between 10 p.m. June 27 and noon on June 28, someone went into unlocked vehicles in the 600 block of Lyndhurst Avenue and took two baskets of books and loose change from the ashtrays.
Thursday, June 28
At 3:41 a.m. on June 28, an officer checked a black Jeep being driven on Washington Boulevard near Oak Street and discovered it had been reported stolen from Lincoln the previous day. He stopped the vehicle and arrested the 25-year-old male driver, from Roseville, on suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of methamphetamine and possession of burglar's tools (shaved car keys).
Between 10 p.m. on June 28 and 3 a.m. on June 29, someone stole a silver Chevy SUV from the area of Vallejo Avenue and Sawtell Road. The CHP found the SUV in the North Sacramento area on July 1 and made an arrest.
Friday, June 29
Overnight on June 29/30, someone stole a white Acura sedan from the 200 block of Union Street. The vehicle was found later with its license plates missing.
Saturday, June 30
Between 11 and 11:50 p.m. on June 30, someone stole a gray Honda Accord from the 400 block of Forest Knoll. On the morning of July 1, an officer found the vehicle abandoned on Lead Hill Boulevard near N. Sunrise Avenue with its ignition punched.
Between 11 p.m. on June 30 and 7:40 a.m. on July 2, someone stole a gray 2007 Yamaha R6 motorcycle from an apartment complex on Marcia Way.
Overnight on June 30/July 1, someone went into two unlocked vehicles in the 2200 block of Bradshaw Avenue and stole an iPod, speakers and other items. Someone also forced entry into a car parked in the 2000 block of Polley Drive and took tools.
Sunday, July 1
Between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on July 1, someone broke into a box truck in the 1500 block of Vineyard Road and stole a wallet containing the victim's ID and a debit card. The debit card was soon used to make fraudulent purchases.
Between 7 and 8:30 a.m. on July 1, someone got into an SUV parked at 6 Medical Plaza and stole an iPad and golf clubs.
Wednesday, July 4
Between 6 and 8 p.m. on July 4, someone broke into two cars in the 700 block of Sunrise Avenue and damaged the vehicles, but took nothing.
Thursday, July 5
Between 9 and 10 p.m. on July 5, someone broke the window of a car parked at a fitness center in the 300 block of North Sunrise Avenue and took a wallet that had been left under the center console. The wallet contained several credit cards; one had already been used to make a fraudulent transaction.
