Motorcyclist Killed in Industrial Avenue Crash
A Lincoln man was killed after a crash in Roseville Wednesday. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

A Lincoln man died after he lost control of the motorcycle he was riding and crashed on Industrial Avenue Wednesday evening, according to the Roseville Police Department.
Richard Alton Geitz, 60, was riding a 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Industrial Boulevard near Galilee Road at 5:03 p.m. Aug. 1 when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the bike, police report.
Geitz was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where he died from his injuries, according to Roseville Police. The passenger, a 48-year-old woman also from Lincoln, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Both were wearing helmets and police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
