Nov. 7: Golf in the Dark, Donate Coats, More

There's also a chance to listen to Dr. Robert Melillo speak about brain function.

Today in Roseville, there are a few things going on: night-time golf, a chance to donate coats for children and listen in on a workshop on brain function.

Donate Coats – at 1020 Pleasant Grove in Roseville, is a drop-off point for News 10’s Coats for Kids. People are welcome from 11 a.m. to 10 a.m. daily to drop off gently used or new coats. People who bring in donations will get six free garlic Parmesan twists.

Golf in the Dark – Tonight is ’s 7th annual Spooktacular Classic where people can bring out their flashlights and glow balls. The first shot-gun start will be held at 2:30 p.m. on the front side; the second shot-gun start will be held on the back side at 7:15 p.m. following dinner outside on the patio from 5:30-7 p.m. The Spooktacular is a four-person scramble and costs $65 per player, which includes a round of golf, glow balls, dinner, paraphernalia and prizes. Brain Balance Workshop – Dr. Robert Melillo, co-founder of Brain Balance, will speak at 7 p.m. at the University of . Melillo will speak about brain function and how if affects children’s challenges. This is a free event hosted by the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Rocklin and the University of Phoenix.
