The center provides free, volunteer-led programs from art and cooking to tutoring, and is actively welcoming new families and community volunteers. 
• ‘Sticky fingers': Over $10,000 in stolen goods recovered by Elk Grove police (fox40.com) — Roseville police are being thanked for helping Elk Grove officers crack down on holiday retail theft, leading to 36 arrests and nearly $11,000 in recovered merchandise. The joint operations with Sacramento County deputies focused on protecting local businesses from organized shoplifting during the busy shopping season.
• Senate Republicans Unveil Priorities for Californians (galtherald.com) — Roseville residents are represented in the state budget debate by Sen. Roger Niello, whose district includes the city and who helped unveil Senate Republicans’ new budget priorities. The plan criticizes current Democratic leadership and emphasizes public safety, wildfire protection, water and emergency services, education funding, and support for hospitals and job creators across California.
