Roseville DMV May Open Monday

The Roseville office has been closed since Nov. 2 for black mold removal.

The Office may be back open for business Monday, Nov. 14, according to The Sacramento Bee.

The office, located on Harding Boulevard, has been after employees smelled a "musky smell" coming from the janitor's closet, according to Jan Mendoza, a spokesperson with the California DMV.

Testing results confirming that that smell was black mold, or stachybotrys chartarum mold. The Roseville office was closed as crews come in to analyze what needs to be cleaned, removed and repaired, Mendoza said.
