Star Student Overcomes Autism To Be Student Of The Month At School
Joseph was diagnosed as a baby and has worked diligently through multiple therapies. He is in a regular 3rd grade classroom.

ROSEVILLE, CA —Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors. This submission comes from Claire Salsman who nominated Joesph, Grade 3 of Roseville.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Joesph was diagnosed with autism as a young baby and through out many interventions he has been nominated for the honor at school and student of the month. He does all this with help of an aide and is in a regular classroom.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
How smart he is especially in math.
