Video: Installation Begins for Roseville Electric’s Centennial Clock

The clock marks Roseville Electric's 100-year anniversary.

Early last week, installation began for a Centennial Clock to celebrate Roseville Electric’s 100-year anniversary.

The clock, given to the City of Roseville by KB Homes years ago, will be placed at the on Lincoln Street in Roseville.

“The clock’s design is consistent with the Carnegie building’s architecture and there is an exciting synergy locating it at the site of one of Roseville Electric’s first customers,” according to City documents.

The project will cost approximately $10,000, according to City documents, which includes installation, permits, tree removal, engineering, electric cable and installation of energy efficiency measures. The money will come out of Roseville Electric’s Fiscal Year 2013 budget, according to City documents.
