Week in Review, Aug. 5: Sammy Hagar, Mobile Food, More

Last week, we had some big news for Downtown Roseville. Sammy Hagar plans to make a stop in Roseville to perform during an invitation-only event for the opening of his restaurant Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar & Grill. Also, city council approved monthly mobile food festivals for Downtown Roseville starting in September.

Here's a look at what went on in Roseville last week:

— The candidate filing period runs through Aug. 10. See who plans to run for a seat on one of Roseville's school boards during the November election.

— The Downtown Roseville restaurant and entertainment venue is expected to open Sept. 15. The celebration will kick-off with an invitation-only event and a concert by Sammy Hagar.
