Friends of the Library Book Sale: Pick up used books this weekend at the Friends of the Library used book sale both Friday and Saturday. All of the money raised will help provide programming and materials at Roseville’s public libraries.
When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 18

Cost: Books will be 25 cents for children’s books, 50 cents for paperbacks, $1 for hardbound and media and $3-$5 for special books and sets

Family Movie Night: Renaissance Church in Roseville is hosting a free family movie night featuring “The Lorax.” They’ll be handing out free popcorn and beverages too for this movie screening on the lawn. Don’t forget to bring blankets and chairs.

BMX Nor-Cal State Championship Finals: Oak Creek BMX in Roseville will host the championship finals this weekend. This event draws BMX riders from across California.
When: Racing begins 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 1:30 p.m. Sunday

Saturday, Aug. 18

3^rd Saturday Art Walk: Roseville’s art walk was re-vamped in early spring and showcases art and music at local venues, mostly in Downtown Roseville.
When: 7-10 p.m. Saturday and every 3^rd Saturday of the month
Where: Various venues in Downtown and Old Town Roseville, plus a few locations throughout the city. See the map here.

Music in the Park: The Chris Gardner Band, a country rock band, will perform during the Performing Arts of Roseville’s free Music in the Park concerts.
