Who's Running for Roseville School Boards?

Several candidates have pulled paperwork to run for open seats on Roseville school boards in the November election.

General elections will be held Tuesday, Nov. 6. The candidates' filing period began July 16 and runs through Aug. 10.

The Board of Trustees term for each district starts Dec. 7.

Although all the official candidates won't be available until the filing period ends, some preliminary information on potential candidates is available now, according to various sources.

Here are potential candidates for each school district, according to the Placer County Elections Office:

Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District Board of Trustees: Two four-year seats are up for grabs. Scott Otsuka's and Jeff Randall's seats are available. The following people have pulled or filed paperwork:

• Incumbent Jeff Randall — Has filed papers
• Stephanie Dement — Has pulled papers
• Incumbent Scott Otsuka — Has filed papers

Eureka Union School District Board of Trustees: Two four-year seats are up for grabs. The seats available are those of Kristie Greiss and Ryan Jones. The following people have pulled or filed paperwork:

• Incumbent Ryan Jones — Has filed papers
• Renee Nash — Nash is the former president of the Eureka Schools Foundation; has filed papers
• Alan Cheney — Has pulled papers
• Kristie Greiss — Has pulled papers

Roseville City School District Board of Trustees: Two four-year seats are up for grabs — those of Gary Miller and Susan Goto. The following people have pulled or filed paperwork:

• Incumbent Gary Miller — Has pulled papers
• Jefferson Willoughby — Has pulled papers

Roseville Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees: Three four-year seats are available. The seats available are those of Garry Genzlinger, R. Jan Pinney and Paige Stauss. The following people have pulled or filed paperwork:

• Incumbent Paige Stauss — Has pulled papers
• Incumbent Garry Genzlinger — Has filed papers
• Incumbent R. Jan Pinney — Has pulled papers
