Recommendations include stricter sound planning in permits, real-time monitoring dashboards, and clearer enforcement, with draft rules expected by late January and potential ordinances by 2026 that could reshape nightlife near neighborhoods.

2. ‘Now, it's official': After delays and rebuild, Sacramento's Del Rio Trail complete (sacbee.com) — Sacramento’s Del Rio Trail is now fully connected, with a new bridge linking south Sacramento to downtown and the Sacramento River Bike Trail for safer, car-free commuting. 3. 4. Sacramento students clean up Del Paso Boulevard in 'Day of Service' (kcra.com) — More than 100 Sacramento students just spent a “Day of Service” cleaning up Del Paso Boulevard, tackling litter, landscaping, and storefront beautification to boost the business district.
