Shop & Dine Latino This Holiday Season

The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SACHCC) is encouraging shoppers and diners to support Latino-owned retailers and restaurants this holiday season and into the new year. The Shop & Dine Latino program has special offers and experiences at many of the participating businesses just in time for holiday shopping and celebrations.

“Latino entrepreneurs are starting businesses at higher rates than any other demographic, but the pandemic has impacted these same businesses in disproportionate ways,” said Cathy Rodriguez Aguirre, president and CEO of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. “ The holiday season is an opportunity for everyone in the region to show how much we appreciate our Latino-owned businesses.”

Shop & Dine Latino aims to boost the revenue of Latino-Owned businesses by driving new and regular patrons to explore their offerings and celebrate the region’s Latino culture. During the campaign, which runs November 22 – January 31, 2022, we are asking shoppers at any of the participating Latino-owned businesses to post on their social media and hashtag #ShopandDineLatino. Help our businesses grow and thrive!

Businesses who would like to participate are encouraged to register online. Participants must be Latino-owned, located in the Greater Sacramento area, have an online presence and we encourage them to provide an experience or special offer to incentivize shoppers.

“Our community is incredibly vibrant and SACHCC wants to highlight how many Latino-owned businesses touch our lives every day,” Rodriguez said. “The Latino business community contributes to the overall economic well-being of the region and this program hopes to raise awareness, generate sales and introduce shoppers to exciting new options.”
