Calaveras completes historic run with 42-21 state title win (calaverasenterprise.com) — San Andreas’ own Calaveras High Red Hawks capped a dream season by traveling 376 miles to Fullerton and bringing home the CIF State Division 5-A football championship with a 42-21 win over Bishop Union. Behind a dominant defense and a punishing ground game led by Enrique Hernandez and teammates, Calaveras checked off every season goal and secured the first state title in program history.
