1 Hospitalized In North Park Garage Fire
The fire was knocked down in less than 20 minutes and limited to the garage.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Firefighters from the San Diego Fire Rescue Department made quick work of a garage fire Saturday afternoon in North Park, where they found a person who was injured, according to authorities.
Several units were dispatched to the 3100 block of Nile Street between Redwood and Thorn Streets shortly after noon, where they found a garage on fire that had not yet spread to the rest of the house, SDFRD officials confirmed. One person was transported by ambulance to a hospital, but the nature of their injuries was not disclosed.
The fire was knocked down in less than 20 minutes and limited to the garage. Metro Arson Strike Team investigators responded and were still on scene a couple of hours after the original dispatch trying to determine the cause of the fire.
