18-Year-Old Arrested In Deadly Shooting At Halloween Party In San Diego County
Kane Roldan, 15, of San Diego and Elias Yanez, 17, of Imperial Beach were killed in the shooting, police said.

CHULA VISTA, CA — A young adult was arrested in connection with a shooting at a Halloween party that left two teens dead over the weekend in San Diego County.
Chula Vista police and the San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 18-year-old David Garcia at 1:35 p.m. Monday near his home in National City, according to the Chula Vista Police Department.
The arrest comes three days after officers responded to reports of a shooting at 11:17 p.m. Friday on East Prospect Street. When they arrived, they found 15-year-old Kane Roldan of San Diego and 17-year-old Elias Yanez of Imperial Beach suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where they were later pronounced dead.

Detectives arrested Garcia after an extensive investigative and information provided through San Diego County Crime Stoppers, according to the department. Garcia was booked into county jail on suspicion of murder.
There are no additional suspects at this time, but police said additional arrests could be possible as new information develops.
